SAP is creating its own big language model designed for specific purposes.
JG Chirapurath, Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer at SAP BTP and AI, emphasized that their approach to AI is to assist human creativity, not replace humans. He mentioned that AI can be particularly helpful in handling repetitive tasks, like generating text scripts, which can free up developers to be more productive.
For AI to work well, it needs to use relevant and meaningful data for each specific company. SAP collaborates with over 18,000 enterprise industries and follows a strict code of ethics that includes adhering to regulations, ethical AI practices, and minimizing biases.
Customers have the option to train AI models with their own data. SAP places a strong emphasis on content, fair use, and ethical application of AI. They are dedicated to ensuring AI benefits companies and individuals while upholding ethical standards.
