  • Open Control Panel.
  • Now, click the windows defender firewall.
  • Get into allow an app or feature through windows defender firewall.
  • Now, check the Spotify.

2. Disabling the Antivirus

3. Change DNS settings

  • Enter 8.8.8 for Preferred server and 8.8.4.4 for Alternate DNS server which is ideal.

4. Changing the proxy settings

If none of the above methods work, try following these steps.

  • Open the Spotify app.
  • Select the Show advanced settings.
  • Move to proxy settings and select the auto detect option.
  • Now, click Update proxy.
