Today, a nurse practitioner who makes $100,000 a year in Virginia spends some of his money on vitamins.
Occupation: Nurse Practitioner
Age: 38
Location: Virginia, United States
Salary: $100,000 (approx. $3,000 per pay period)
Day One
Monday started as a regular day of seeing patients with a few yearly physicals scheduled. I had a steady day and went home. I recently moved into my new house and considered if I had everything I needed as a new homeowner. I had already set up a homeowner’s insurance plan, but I hadn’t thought about my household appliances. So, I searched online for home warranty companies in Virginia and found America’s First Choice Home Warranty. They seemed to offer the appliance coverage I needed, so I got a free quote. Finally, I had dinner and went to bed.

Day Two
I had a typical day at work on Tuesday, even a little slow. When I got home, I decided to soak in the tub to relax and noticed I was dealing with a lot of dry skin and even had some hair falling out. When I finished bathing, I went to VitaRX online to view their hair, skin, and nails vitamins. With the potential for how l-tyrosine benefits skin, it was worth doing some research. I decided to buy a 30-day supply of their hair, skin, and nails vitamin pack. Afterward, I hit the hay and called it a night.
Total: $12.42
Day Three
When lunchtime hit during work on Wednesday, I decided to go out to eat. I settled on a nearby diner and had a quick burger before heading back to the office. Once I was off from work, I went shopping for some home decor for my new house. I picked up a few things to make my place more personal and went home. I had a light dinner, watched a couple of movies, and went to bed.
Total: $68.97
Day Four
Unfortunately, the office was swamped on Thursday. We had a hectic day in the office before finally finishing up. When I arrived home, I was exhausted, so I plopped onto the couch and binged some reality TV. I just had a pizza delivered for dinner because I didn’t have the energy to cook.
Total: $15.89
Day Five
Friday was a great day at work. We weren’t too busy, but it wasn’t too slow either. So, I finished the week on a high note and went home. While I relaxed at home, I decided to invite some friends to come to my new place on Saturday for a little housewarming party. So, I got the planning out of the way, had dinner, and called it a night.
Total: $0.00
Day Six
With my housewarming party only a few hours away, I went to the store to gather supplies. Then, I returned to start setting up with ample drinks and party foods. My guests arrived relatively on time, and we warmed the new place up. My friends and I shared some good food, caught up, and even played a few games before settling down for the evening. After the party, everyone got home safely, and I hit the hay.
Total: $42.37
Day Seven
I didn’t do much on Sunday other than clean up the after-effects of my housewarming party, which wasn’t much mess at all. Afterward, I went out to top my car’s gas tank off for the week and came back home. Finally, I relaxed at home before starting the new week.
Total: $35.00
